Port Douglas Great Barrier Reef Fishing
This is a great overall fishing experience. It entails a full day on the water travelling some 15-25 miles offshore to outer reefs in comfortable bigger and stable boats. You can either use handlines or rods to bottom fish for coral trout, red emperor, nannygai, trevally and mackerel as preferred species.
This is a great all round trip for any angler including first timers and mature kids looking for a bit more excitement . This trip also caters for a talented fisherman, where they can shine taking home a great feed of top notch reef fish if desired. Not recommended for seasick travellers unless conditions are calm.
Trips are either shared or by private charter. Private charters can include snorkelling time on secluded outer reef systems if requested. Corporate or Bucks Days are by private charter only.
