The Line Burner
The Line Burner fishing magazine is owned and operated by Lynton (Heff) & Jill Heffer of Port Douglas and started circulation in 2000. The magazine is distributed on a monthly basis throughout the Douglas, Cairns and Hinchinbrook shires in Far North Queensland. In addition to this they have subscribers from all over Australia and also in the UK and USA.
The local Far North fishing action is captured by a dozen writers, who are well known in the industry and contribute articles each month. It is a free publication for readers and is in very popular demand with the locals when each edition is released. If you are visiting the Port Douglas area, keep an eye out for it!
Subscriptions are $50 per year and will be delivered to your door by post anywhere in the world. It is a great way to keep in touch with all the piscatorial action in this magical part of the world.
