James specialises in fishing the Daintree River (45 mins north of Port Douglas), its surrounding coastline and inshore reefs and wrecks. For the wildlife enthusiast there is also the opportunity of a personal charter and with his extensive knowledge of the area and the comfort of a smaller vessel, this makes for a charter to remember.
Every wish can be catered for between the two vessels James has in operation, from the specialised lure or fly fisher, to beginners, personal charters for 1, 2 or 3, families and large groups. "Trini-B" is a custom built 5m barra punt, perfect for fly and lure enthusiasts with a removable canopy and electric motor and is also suitable for the small family seeking a combo adventure of a sightseeing and fishing tour."Fat Cat", being a 6m custom built alloy catamaran, is great for venturing offshore and suitable for large groups and families.
Half and full day, share and personal charters are all options to target barramundi, fingermark, mangrove jack, trevally species, permit, queenfish and mackerel the tropical north is known for, just to name a few of the species. Crocodiles and the large variety of bird species of the Daintree are also waiting to be caught, with your camera!
