Akoonah Angling Charters
The word Akoonah comes from the many native Australian and Aboriginal dialects meaning 'running water' which is precisely what this dedicated team looks for in their fishing quests.
At Akoonah Angling your guides will do everything in their power to find you fish, fishing every section of productive water offshorein the set time and trying different lure and trolling techniques. This charter is by private charter only and designed for the intermediate or experienced angler. They will also accommodate private group bookings.
They will head to the outer reefs and wrecks in pursuit of giant trevally, spanish mackerel, tuna, coral trout and cobia to name a few species. You'll be casting poppers, jigging and trolling for these bluewater speedsters over the crystal waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It is adrenalin pumping and exciting fishing watching the action unfold before your eyes.
Quality Penn and Shimano spinning combos are supplied and loaded 30lb and 50lb braid. All lures (including loss of lures) are included in the price.
